Questions, answered.
How do I know which lens index I need?
Your prescription is the best guide. As a rule of thumb: under ±2.00 → 1.56 standard; ±2.00 to ±4.00 → 1.61 mid-index; ±4.00 to ±6.00 → 1.67 high-index; above ±6.00 → 1.74 super high-index. The stronger your prescription, the more difference high-index makes in thickness and weight.
Do I really need blue light filtering?
If you spend more than four hours a day on screens, the answer is yes — most users notice less eye strain after a week, and many report better sleep quality. It's a small upgrade with disproportionate benefit for modern lifestyles.
What's the difference between polarized and photochromic?
Polarized lenses block reflected glare from flat surfaces (roads, water, snow) — best for driving and outdoor sport. Photochromic lenses adapt automatically to light, darkening outdoors and clearing indoors — best for one-pair-fits-all convenience. Polarized is for performance; photochromic is for flexibility.
Can I stack multiple coatings on one lens?
Yes — most lenses can stack anti-reflective, blue light filtering, and UV protection together. Some combinations have technical limits (for example, mirror coatings are exclusive to sunglasses lenses). Our checkout will guide you through compatible options automatically.
What if my prescription changes after I order?
Defective items are exchangeable within 180 days under our worry-free guarantee. For prescription changes after that window, contact our support team — we'll always work with you to find a fair option, whether that's discounted re-lensing or another solution.
